No snow this year, but wind and mud challenged the 179 runners in the annual Boxing Day Whinberry Naze fell race. First back for Chorley was Darren Fishwick (28:42) in 18th position, followed by an excellent run by Lynne Clough (30:15) returning as 3rd lady. Following not too far behind was Paul Jackson (32:25) and Simon Townsend (34:01) in 45th and 62nd position respectively.
