Results

Three Chorley AC athletes competed in the Standish Hall Trail 10K race on one of the driest trail courses ever! Unfortunately added difficulty was introduced with the whole field going wrong and having to undertake an extra mile through the woods.

Paul Wareing put his cross-country strength to good use with a superb 39th place( 50mins:39secs) and is improving all the time through the season. At the other end of the field the extra mileage was too much for Mike Coppin in 176th(72:58) who was astutely caught by coach John Payn in the last half mile 175th(72:33). John, Mike and Paul were 3rd, 8th & 11th respectively in their categories.
