Results
16 Chorley AC runners of all ages travelled to a brand new (but wet and muddy) SE Lancs Cross Country course in Leigh. The U11 boys team came fifth, comprising Luke Hunter 13th, Scott and Dominic Gouldthorpe 14th and 16th respectively, followed by Ben Green in 18th. The U11 girls of Emily Hunter and Meghan Gouldthorpe came 13th and 16th. U15 Fergus Tallon came 6th, supported by Danny Betts in 16th. Joe Ellison was the sole U17, but finished an excellent 7th. U17 Luke Betts ran in the senior race and finished 8th overall, but first Junior. Vet Paul Wareing was next to finish in 37th, followed by Vet Simon Townsend in 60th. Next to finish were David Taylor, Henry Minorczyk and Ian Walker, despite David and Ian arriving at the start after the race had started. The V60 trio of Barry Chester, John Minton and Tom Hilton, and the Chorley AC team took 6th team.

The Chorley AC youngsters were out in force at the first SE Lancs cross country event at Heaton Park. U11 boys team of Scott and Dominic Gouldthorpe, and Luke Hunter finished 13, 15 and 16 repspectively and claimed 4th team place. U11 girls Emily Hunter and Meghan Gouldthorpe finished 19 and 22 in their race. U15 Fergus Tallon had a good run to finish an easy 6th.
