The forecast snow for the weekend held off and we even had some sun but with a bitter wind and occasional snow flurries for the popular Easter Saturday Rivington Pike race.
Chorley AC runners were Sam Hewison our Army man in training for the Three Peaks race was 62nd in 22:28, Paul Bass back from injury and his first child 165th in 26:22 then Barry Chester at 206th(28:03) with a good road section. John Swift was 261st(32:21), Mike Coppin 274th(33:51) tearing down the hill but with nothing left for the road at the end, and Les Paul 282nd(35:02). Barry and John were both 6th in their categories of Vet 55 and 65.
Interestingly both the mens and ladies winners Rob Hope and Katie Inghram though not running for Chorley Clubs are Chorley residents.
