Chorley Athletic Club's Eloise Manger claimed one of the biggest Olympian scalps of her athletic career by out throwing Jessica Ennis, the International multi eventer, by nearly two metres. Eloise's magnificent javelin throw of 48.10 mtrs took her well clear of the International Olympian to claim the Northern Championship crown.
Coach Alan Morris is highly delighted by Eloise's dedication and says "Her hours of training are paying of, she is one of the brightest up and coming stars on the athletics stage. We at the club, and I am sure all of Chorley, are extremely proud of her."
