Chorley Athletic Club's Chairman, John Payn achieved yet another remarkable success in the European Masters Athletic Championships. John took part in the gruelling 20K race walk and despite extremely hot and humid conditions powered his way to another Team Gold Medal for GB in 2 hrs 23 mins 56 secs. John also took the bronze medal to add to his already existing magnificent tally of major championship medals.
