One Chorley AC athlete John Payn slipped off to do the Radcliffe 5K trail race where he finished 52nd(26:45) in an adequate performance picking up the 2nd vet 70 prize, but what was astounding is to understand that John who picks up most of the vet 70 titles hereabouts was beaten by a full 5 minutes in a remarkable 21:45 clocking by another vet 70 Brian Rodgers.
