All the races were extremely hard fought affairs between the best runners in the country! The juniors athletes secured their places with seconds covering many of the top places. The best CAC result of the day was Fergus Tallon in the U13s in 90th place with an excellent run being only 1 minute in arrears of the winner. In the U17s Luke Betts set off well being in the first 50 for a long while, finishing in 108th which again was only 3 mins off the leader. The seniors were very happy with achieving 106th team in England especially as all were vets and 3 were over 60. Paul Wareing lead the club home in 914th chased by Dave Taylor in 1018th. Captain Barry Chester finished his season with a stormer having caught Henry Minorczyk on the second lap but could not get rid of him and they finished locked together in 1279th and 1280th with a 2 sec advantage to Barry. Phil McCullagh's full season finally paid dividends with an excellent run in 1391st keeping Eddie Murray(1403rd) behind him with Mike Coppin rounding up the team in 1427th.
