Results

The Mid Lancs. Medal meeting held at Robin Park,Wigan certainly was very productive for Chorley AC athletes.

Paralympian Graham Ballard produced an excellent performance in his heats to clock 13.9 secs for 100 metres, but star performances have to go to Kelly Hilton (1st Triple Jump), Luke Betts (1st U17 men 1500 metres), Ryan Sciacca (1st in 800 metres) and Adam Sciacca (1st in 1500 metres) and Rhian Beaumont (1st in Javelin).

Rhian's coach Alan Morris was delighted by her overall performance and believes it won't be long before she will be challenging the club's international thrower Eloise Manger!

Chairman John Payn believes that " the strength of this group to achieve five Gold, four Silver and one Bronze medal and six personal bests highlights how talented they are. This is down to excellent coaching and dedication to training, and we at the club are extremely proud of their achievements."
