A weekend of poor weather did not deter some great performances from Chorley AC athletes in the annual Lancashire Championships.
Luke Betts achieved a great time of 1.56.3 and 4th place in the 800m, plus a 3rd place in the 1500m. His younger brother U15 Dan got 10th in the 1500m and 12th in the 800m. The Sciacca bothers had a strong weekend, with 2nd and 5th in 800m and 400m respectively for Ryan, and Adam achieved 4th in 1500m and 7th in 3000m. U15 Fergus Tallon also performed very well with 4th place in the 800m and 1500m.
For the women, Jodie Farnworth took 1st in High Jump and U17 Anya Townsend was 9th in 800m and 5th in Discus.
