7km and twice up Pendle Hill was the challenge for 11 Chorley AC senior runners with 330 other fell runners. First back was V45 Simon Townsend in at time of 45.38, followed very closely by V50 Dave Kershaw and Stuart Tunney. V60 Henry Minorczyk had a great run of 50.05mins, with the injured V45 Paul Wareing and V60 Barry Chester in close attendance. Others making it back down the hill included John Minton, Phil McCullagh, Les Paul, Tom Hilton and Mike Coppin.

The brave Chorley AC youth were also out on Pendle. Accomplished U16 fell runner Joe Ellison had a great run in 12th. He was supported by fell newcomers U12 Ben Green (71st), U10s Luke Hunter(16th), Scott Gouldthorpe (26th) and Emily Hunter (56th).
