Two young Chorley AC athletes, Luke Betts and Adam Sciacca had great runs in the first of the Harrock Hill races, taking 4th overall (1st under 18) and 10th overall (2nd under 18). V50 Dave Kershaw was first back for the older generation in a time of 40.23 with V45 Simon Townsend just a minute behind. V60s Barry Chester, Tom Hilton and Adrian Smith also finished in good times in a field of over 170.

The last Harrock Hill race saw Chorley Harriers and many other club runners come out in force to run in memory of Mike Ogle; who recently died in a fell race. After getting a fast start Chorley ACs V45 Paul Wareing completed the course in a PB time of 39.21. Further down the field, V45 Simon Townsend finished over 2 minutes behind Paul, followed by V60 Henry Minorczyk a further 2 minutes behind. V60 Tom Hilton also completed the course almost exactly 1 hour.
