Nine Chorley AC athletes competed in the Inter-Club fell race at Harrock Hill claiming 2nd vet50 & vet60 teams. Paul Wareing was the first home at 53rd(40:06) with Dave Kershaw just 3 behind at 56th(40:12) chased by Simon Townsend 69th(41:16) and Jonathan Betts 107th(45:03). Barry Chester as 5th vet60 lead home the vet60 team in 142nd(48:56) followed by Steven Wilde 161st(53:45) and Phil McCullagh 163rd(53:55) supported by Les Paul 181st(61:40) and Mike Coppin 183rd(62:15).

A barmy evening greeted veteran Chorley AC runners of the second Harrock Hill fell race of the season. First home for the club was the ever-improving V50 Dave Kershaw beating his first race time by 40 seconds and picking up 2nd Vet 50 prize. Second home was the ever-limping V45 Simon Townsend, followed by a good run by V60 Henry Minorczyk, V60 Barry Chester, V50 Phil McCullough and V60 Tom Hilton.

A pleasant evening encouraged some fast times from Chorley AC runners at the 3rd Harrock Hill race. First first home and leading a V45 trio was Paul Wareing in a time of 39.45 in 43rd place, with David Taylor and Simon Townsend all coming in within 1 minute of him. Next back was V60 Barry Chester in a time of 47.33, chased by V50 Phil McCullagh, and then came V60s Les Paul and Tom Hilton.
