The final 2006 Harrock Hill Race took place on a warm evening over the Parbold Hills with Chorley AC athlete Mike Coppin competing . Mike finished the tough course in 138th position in a time of 56mins 09 secs,a seasons best time by 1 sec!

Mike secured 4th vet 60 overall for the series.

Chorley AC's Mike Coppin continues his proclivity for difficult races in running the Harrock Hill Fell race (a hard 5.75 miles over Parbold, Harrock & Beacon hills) finishing , 4th vet 60. With perfect weather Mike finished 113th overall in 56:10 mins a much improved time.
