The last 2011 Interclub fell event was the Golf Ball Fell Race in Loveclough and attracting over 180 runners. 5.5miles of trudging across moors and bogs seemed to put off many Chorley AC runners. After a delayed and slow start, V45 Simon Townsend managed to pick his way through the field to claim 76th place (51 mins) and was first home for the club. Next back was V60 Henry Minorczyk who suffered on the long down hill stretches but still managed 125th place, followed by John Minton in 151st place.
