Stanley Park, 2 Day event Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May - Multiple Golds!

The Lancashire Track and Field Championships produced gold and championship bests for Chorley AC athletes!

In the High Jump Under 17's woman Jodie Farnworth produced a gold star jump to take first and achieve 1.55 metres. Not to be outdone the Senior ladies produced immaculate performances with Eloise Manger throwing a magnificent 40.13 metres to take top spot in the Javelin. Performance of the weekend has to be Kelly Hilton's 12.27 metres in the Triple Jump - not only gold but a championship best performance. Kelly also achieved first in 100mtr hurdles and 2nd in Long Jump clocking 15.4 secs and 5.43 metres respectively.

In the Under 15 Boys Ryan Sciacca took gold in one of the "blue ribbon" events, 800m in 2mins 14 secs, whilst Ben Whipp also produced a gold star performance to come 1st in the Discus with a throw of 25.21m



Club Chairman, John Payn praised all the athletes and said" All our athletes compete at the highest level, they enjoyed what they are doing and we as a club are highly delighted with all their achievements."
