Chorley Athletic Club was formed in 1980 and has a thriving junior and adult membership.
The club caters for all ages and capabilities; from a Sunday jog in the park to an international 100m sprint in Sydney.
The club welcomes any new members.

Are for adults and children of any ability that would like to improve fitness and/or training for specific events.
Primary and Juniors Monday night 18:30-19:40 at Holy Cross R.C. High School.
AdultsTuesday Speed 18:30 Various Venues around Chorley.
Thursday Track at Horwich Track, and Thursday Enduro 18:30 various locations.

Simon | | 2010-08-22 | Chorley AC runners V50 Dave Kershaw and V60 Barry Chester ploughed their way through deep mud in the Golf Ball fell race, to finish in times of 48:01 and 59:50 respectively. On an uncharacteristic warm afternoon, V45 Simon Townsend and V60 Les Paul tackled the steep slopes of the Darwen Gala Fell race. The former completed the course (despite shoe problems) in 31:10 and the latter finishing in 51:31 with a new PB.
